All first treatments include 15 minute consultation to ensure your massage is tailored to suit your individual needs

Holistic massage uses classical Swedish massage techniques to treat the “whole” person. During every treatment, I consider not only any physical symptoms or problems you may have, but also environmental, lifestyle and emotional factors that combine to determine your well-being.

Massage has many potential short-term and long-term physical and psychological benefits. Physical benefits include reduced muscle tension, stiffness and soreness, reduced joint stiffness,  increased circulation, improved sleep, improved skin tone, more efficient immune system, deeper and more efficient breathing, faster digestion and waste removal, improved take up of nutrients, and reduced physical impact of stress on the body.   Massage relaxes the mind and helps to reduce anxiety, soothes and comforts, and can help to improve mood and energy levels. In the long term massage can help to improve body image, awareness and general self-esteem.

My massage technique highly adaptable.  I tailor each treatment to focus on your particular situation to make sure you receive the maximum benefit from the experience.  I have a professional massage qualification (ITEC Holistic Massage) and am fully insured.
