Profile Information

Job Title:
Director
Background:
I live in rural Cambridgeshire with Aberdeen angus cattle and the cricket club to the front, open wheat fields and ponies to the rear. Mind you, I'm the least likely country girl you will ever meet. Orginating from the Essex suburbs, the phrase, "you can take the girl out of the bitumen, but you can't take the bitumen out of the girl" truly does apply to me!
As a young girl I was very, very fortunate to have adventurous parents. My father told me, "if you don't travel before you settle, you will never settle." So with this good advice in my head, my backpack to the ready, I travelled the world in a fabulous adventure. On the way learning about different; cultures, customs, food, sights, sounds and life.
I met my husband on my travels and two weeks after we were engaged, I returned to the UK hearing news that my mother was seriously ill. I enjoyed every second I spent with mum, catching up on news and telling her all about my adventures on my travels. My parents themselves were great travellers and I honestly cannot remember one year where they spent a full twelve months in the UK. Sadly mum passed away six weeks after my return.
My father suffered a massive heart attack three weeks after mum's passing and on further investigation he was found to have cancer. My father was sent to Papworth Hospital where he had a very serious operation. Shortly afterwards, my father was feeling a little better and flew to Australia where he met my lovely step mother.
In 1997 I married my incredible husband, on a beautifully sunny day, with a fabulous, flat, Fenland backdrop. Sadly two weeks later, whilst we were on our honeymoon, we received word that my father had given up his fight for life. I sometimes wonder at how incredibly lucky I was to have been given the best gift of all on our wedding day, my father walking me down the aisle! I will never forget that.
Today my husband and I are still in rural Cambridgeshire, we still have plenty of sights to see and countries to explore and yet, we are happy and settled. Perhaps, once you are truly settled the need to travel may not be so demanding.
I use my creative mind in conjunction with memories of the world I've seen, the people I've met and the stories I've heard. This knowledge coupled with research on historical characters or fact finding enables me to write accurate accounts of events or entrancing stories.
If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact me and I will be delighted to assist.

The Ageing Face of the Little Black Dress - How to Avoid It!

Are you introverted, analytical and shy? Do you have the ability to spend long hours on your own? Do you feel unconfident around others? Are you self sacrificing with a determination to do things perfectly? When you look into your eyes do you have dark crypts or spokes in the iris? When you put black up against your face are there no dark lines under the chin, shadows round the eyes or lines on the face that are highlighted?

Hi Amanda

How are you? It's been ages since we spoke.

I have finally got rid of the day job and I am now in New Zealand enjoying the sunshine and just about to have a sun downer as it's 5 past 6.
As I write this email, I am looking out of the lounge window at an amazing view of Rangitoto island, which is the youngest and the largest of the 60 odd volcanoes in the area, amazing!

Really looking forward to Get2Business in November, please put my name down and i will call you on my return and arrange payment, unless I can do it on line.

Look forward to hearing all your news.

Jackie x

PS Do you have Michelle's e-mail address as I can't access my contact list for some strange reason?

My pleasure Amanda.
What's this about the 24th Sept, would it be something I could come along to?
Do you know anyone who has recently been made redundant or who is looking for a change in career. I am busy recruiting and am looking for 5 key people who would like to work from home. This is a fantastic business opportunity to earn substantial EXTRA income - three options:
1) £100-£300 per month for ~10 hours/month
2) £1000-£3000+ monthly for ~10 hours/week
3) £5000-£10,000++ ultimately, by working hard and smart!
If you do know of anyone, please pass on my details so they can find out more. Jackie Fletcher-Keighley on 07746894349
See you soon and good luck with your networking site I'm sure it will be a great success.
