Set up by Jane Kellock and Amanda Carr, The Women’s Room is an online community created for 35+ plus, freethinking, intelligent, enquiring, stylish women. Witty, funny and yet packed with really useful reviews, you will be kept right up to the minute, sharing experiences about anything and everything; from the latest fashion trend to the simple pleasures in life like where to find the best tea-room or reading a review of our most recent Staycation adventure.
You will very quickly find yourself hooked! As a group, us 35+ women are fascinating, fun, know a lot and love to learn more. The Women’s Room is more than a TV programme, more than a radio station, more than a newspaper or magazine. It has been created so that women can connect on a daily basis, with the aim of building a community, breaking down traditional age barriers to celebrate where we are in life.
For Amanda, having spent her entire working life in the fashion industry as a buyer, merchandiser and retailer she is frequently incensed by the lack of attention paid to women 35+, The Women’s Room is a joyous way to fill the gap. For Jane, a trend forecaster, designer, writer and creative thinker, The Women’s Room is the culmination of 20 years experience in fashion and life and brings together all the things she loves.
